Make a big difference

Malaria is a common, yet deadly tropical disease transmitted through the bites of infected mosquitoes.

It kills nearly one million people every year-the vast majority children under age five.

  • Malaria No More UK, designer Markus Lupfer and Namibian model Behati Prinsloo have partnered with NetsforLife® to distribute 14,500 mosquito nets to families in remote areas of Namibia. The proceeds from the limited edition cocktail dress, which includes a netting overlay, will go exclusively to the NetsforLife® program saving over 23,000 lives. For more go to:  http://malarianomore.org.uk/?s=mosquito+dress.
  • Co-winners of the GBC Partnership and Collective Action Award, Standard Chartered Bank, Coca-Cola Africa Foundation and ExxonMobil Foundation promote NetsforLife® and its partnership model in recent interviews.  To hear their thoughts on corporate responsibility and strategy go to http://www.gbcimpact.org/itcs_node/0/0/award/2616.

  • Imagine a simple mosquito bite as a matter of life and death? Imagine 3000 children dying today from malaria in Africa. Watch Instilling a Net Culture to learn more about the work of NetsforLife®.

The numbers are staggering

  • Each year, there are 250 million cases of infection.
  • 90% of all malaria deaths occur in sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Malaria costs an estimated $12 billion in lost productivity in Africa.

Please join the fight against malaria. Every dollar counts, and each net can save three people from contracting this deadly disease. Make a difference-donate to NetsforLife® today.
